HamsviUe, witn 105 points, won the Heruerc ■Smith Challenge Cup. In the long jump xor u^ys up to 15 years, J. Clark and .UcLarin, both of NValau I'a, each recorded 13t't Sin. Harnett, Harrisvuie, was third, 13ft 4in. In the high jump Clark cleared 4ft 3iin ; McLarin, nilt aiiii ; and Hart, Pukekolie, 4ft lin. Cups for team events were won by : —- Boys' tunnel ball, Bombay ; girls' overncad bail, Hnrrisville; girls' l'elay race, Pukekolie ; boys' relay race, Tuakau. A presentation was made by the president, Mr. J. S. Wilcox, to Mr. R. E. Butler, secretary of the association since its inception, who leaves Pukekolie on 'transfer to Oparau, Kawhia.
