AVONDALE JOCKEY CLUB.

The autumn meeting of the Avondale Jockey Club will be held on April 27 and 29, and full particulars are advertised in this issue. The stakes total £2560, and on the first day the Foley Memorial of £300, one mile and a quarter, and the Railway Handicap of £220, 9ix furlongs, are the chief events, while on the second day the ' Autumn Handicap of £250, one mile and a quarter, is the principal attraction. Boxes will be provided free of charge, but trainers will have to supply bedding for their horses. Nominations for all events close with the secretary, Mr. A. J. Farquhar, at 5 p.m. next Friday.
