GRAPES PLENTIFUL NO RIPE BANANAS. EGG PRICES RAISED. Although the Hauraki landed a large consignment of - green Samoan bananas yesterday, the market is at present bare ot' ripe bananas. Supplies will be plentiful, however, within the next week, as, in addition to the Hauraki's consignment, a further shipment of bananas, together with other island fruit, will arrive at Auckland by the Waipahi on Monday. The supply of To Kamvhata grapes lias now reached its height and these are selling cheaply. Low prices arc also being received lor tomatoes.
