Inquiry as to whether police proceedings were being taken against women and girls who attended a meeting in Western Park, Auckland, 011 March 10, was made in the House of Representatives' yesterday by Mr. W. E. l'arry (Labour, Auckland Central).

Mr. Parry urged the Minister of .Justice to instruct the police not to interfere with or hold up meetings of the nature, which were Wing conducted peacefully. <- I have no information on thi.s matter, but I will have inquiries made," replied Mr. C'obbc, who said that when the result of his inquiries was available he would notify Mr. Parry.
