MT. ALBERT CROQUET CLUB

An enjoyable time was spent on the Mount Albert croquet lawns on Thursday, when the president, Mrs. Maxwell, entertained the members, lion, members and friends at a progressive afternoon. Mrs. Maxwell received her guests wearing a frock of navy blue figured crepe de chine and hat to tone. The prizewinners were: Visitors' prize, Mrs. Ellis; .members, A, Mrs. Sharp and Mrs. Smith; B, Mrs. Willey and Mrs. Henry. During the afternoon tea recess Mrs. For'syth, vice-president, on behalf of the members, presented Mrs. Maxwell with a bouquet of red and gold dahlias, tlsc club colours. Mrs. Badeley, president of the Auckland Croquet Association, spoke on behalf of the visitors.
