OX BEEF SELLS READILY.

STEER REALISES £11 12/6.

LARGE YARDING OF COWS

The yarding of ox beef at the Westfield fat stock sales to-day was more than average, and the quality was first class. Bidding was keen throughout the sale, and late rates ruled in most cases. A steer from Opotiki realised £11 12/0, this being a distinct increase on the sales for the last three months. The yarding of cows and heifers was large, and the quality was well up to average.
