ARBITRATION.
AMENDMENT STANDS,
GOVERNMENT'S ATTITUDE

WELLINGTON, this day.
According to a written statement circulated in the House of Representatives yesterday on behalf of the Minister of Labour, the Government this session will not repeal the amendments made in 19-32 to the Arbitration Act.
"Notwithstanding the improvement in trade and business," the statement explained, "many industries are still experiencing great difficulty in canying on."
