MENTONE MEETING. N.Z. ACCEPTORS FOR TO-MORROW. MELBOURNE, February 25. New Zealand acceptors at Mentone on Wednesday are:— Open Mile.—Wheriko, 8.13. Newmarket Trial.—Closing Time, 9.4; Epigram, 7.11; Radiant Star, 7.2. Heros, 9.3, is also an acceptor. Sir Nigel is located at Caulfield. K. Voitre will ride Count Ito in the Newmarket Trial. Count Ito will go to India later. H. Moran wilrride Spartan, and T. Lewis will ride Melason. Synagogue has lost hie allowances in the Essendon Stakes, and may not run. Weights for the Brunewick Stake" are:—Sir Simper, 8.11; King March, 8.7; W.d Trail, 8.5; Queen Helen, 6.7.
