CIVIL ENGINEERS.
CONFERENCE IN AUCKLAND. The annual conference of the New Zealand Society of Engineers will be held this week in Auckland. A meeting of the council was held this morning, and the delegates will assemble to-morrow morning at 10 o'clock, when they will be welcomed by the Mayor. The conference will extend over Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning, when a number of papers will come up for discussion. Arrangements have been made for the delegates to visit various works iu and about Auckland.
