FARM HAND FOUND SHOT

PIG SHOOTING FATALITY,

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, Friday. A youth, George Barnum Tremain, aged 17, was found dead in a lonely gully ill the Ngatuwera district to-day, the cause of death being a bullet wound in the body.

Deceased, who was a farmhand employed on Mr. S. Brewer's Waikare property, went pig shooting with a .rifle yesterday afternoon. Ho was not missed until early this morning, and a search resulted in the discovery of his body, a mile from the homestead. Deceased'* dogs were keeping watch. Apparently Tremain lost his footing, with the result that the rifle was discharged. His mother lives in Wanganui.
