Campbell Makes First Trial Run at Daytona. SPEED ONLY 100 M.P.H. (Received 11 a.m.) DAYTONA BEACH, February 14. In the first trial of the Bluebird car over a fairly smooth course, Sir Malcolm Campbell found several imperfections in the car. After covering the eight-mile run the speed indicator was working improperly and the clutch slipping. A speed of slightly more than 100 miles an hour was attained. When the attempt on the record will be made is indefinite.
