MOUNT ALBERT RATES.
"Satisfied Ratepayer" declares that there has been a reduction in Mount, Albert rates. I fail to see where ihe derives the idea. My rates show a distinct rise. The 1933-34 consolidated rate was 3Jd in the £1; tiat tot 1934-33 4Ad in the £1. The ratable value certainly was reduced, but the rate was raieed Id in the £1 to offset this. RATEPAYER,
