FATAL EXPLOSION.

Manj r Killed in Factory Disaster. TRAGEDY NEAR CHERBOURG. PARIS, February 10. At least eight people were killed and 30 injured, besides houses being damaged for seven miles around, when a naval explosives factory blew up at Nardouet, near Cherbourg. Fire followed the explosion and 1000 workmen fled for their lives, many being scorched by flames. The streets were littered with parts of shells, charred debris, broken tele-T graph wires and shattered window glass. Panic-stricken froAvds flocked round the fatal spot, and the police had difficulty in preventing a serious disturbance. Owing to the darkness it is not known whether the casualty list is complete.
