GARRICK REPERTORY THEATRE.
The inaugural meeting of the Garrick Repertory Theatre was held last week. It was decided to produce plays publicly, to perform play- readings, in. the clubroom, t hold literary evenings in connection With the drama. Some social events have also been arranged. An interesting discussion on types of plays and then respective values took place. Many members were enrolled, and an enthusiastic atmosphere pervaded. Among those present were: Mesdames Booth, Wilson, S McCall, Misses O'Halloran Pen y, Reeve, Monteith, Steele, McDonald, Cavendish, D'Arcy-Jones.
