CAMPAIGNING BY FILMS.

A tribute to the value of the film as a method of political propaganda was paid recently by Lord Stonehaven, chairman of the Conservative party organisations and former GovernorGeneral of Australia. He gave a luncheon party in London to the speakers and operators connected with ten daylight cinema vans which concluded a tour of Great Britain with a film programme in support of the National Government. The vans covered 36.000 miles, and only 12 meetings were cancelled on account of breakdowns. It is estimated that there were over a million people in the audiences in the 252 constituencies which were visited.
