GERMANY IN THE FIELD

BERLIN, January 8. A "Reichs Fashions Office" will be opened shortly, with headquarters at Frankfurt-on-Main, which will have a dominating influence on German women's clothing. According to Heir Schmidt, the German tailors' leader, the new office will compete with London, Paris and Vienna. Propaganda in this connection, it is stated, will be entrusted in, a woman professor and a group of painters and experts in applied arts.
