SNOWFALL IN BRITAIN.
INTENSE COLD GRIPS EUROPE. (Britislh Official Wireless.) RUGBY, January 8. There was a slight snowfall in London yesterday for the first time this winter. Heavier falls occurred in several places in tho British Isles. In many parts of England and Scotland roads arc ice-bound as tho result of the sudden cold spell. Intense cold is gripping Western and Central Europe, and wintry conditions now prevail throughout Britain.
