ASKED TO RESIGN.
M.P. IN" FINANCIAL SCANDAL. (Received 2 p.m.) •LONDON, January 7. In consequence of his conviction in connectipn with a fraudulent art union scheme in Glasgow recently, the Rutlierglen Unionist Association lias decided, unanimously to ask Mr. Herbert Moss to resign from Parliament.
Mr. Moss, Conservative M.P._ for Rutherglen, Lanark, was fined £50, in default three months' imprisonment, by the Glasgow Sheriff's Court, for contravening the Lotteries Act under the auspices of an art. union in connection with a school of art.
