ADJOURNED INQUESTS.

SEVEN IN THE WAIKATO. (From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Friday. Seven adjourned inquests are awaiting completion in the Waikato, one at To Arolia, and six at Hamilton; The first concerns the death of Mr. C. C, Waite, who was killed in an aeroplane crash at Waihou on November 28. Further evidence is to be heard in connection with the fatal injuries received by Mr. N. Polglase, who was involved in a shunting accident at Fronkton on December 7. The circumstances of the death of Mr. A. J. Meade, who received fatal injuries in a collision between a train and a jigger near Taupiri on December IS. have yet to be inquired into. The coroner has not yet completed the taking of evidence relating to the death of Mr. N. J. Davenport, who was fatally kicked by a horse at Ngarua on December 23. The drowning of Robert Burnell, an infant, at the Hamilton Lake, on Christmas Day. will form the subject of further evidence to be taken. Another inquest which has been adjourned for further evidence relates to the death of Charles Bernard Allan Cole, a Borstal Institute inmate, who escaped from Waikeria on May 22. and whoso skeleton was found on a tree in the Waipa River on Wednesday. The last inquest concerns the denth of an infant. Charles Lawrence Miles, who became suffocated while asleep yesterday morning.
