ELOCUTIONIST'S DEATH.
MR. THOMAS HARRIS
The many friends of Mr. Thomas Harris, well-known teacher of elocution and entertainer, will regret to learn of his death yesterday at his home, 103, Grange Road, Mount Eden. Mr. Harris recently underwent an operation and returned to his home about a. week ago, but complications set in which resulted in his death. He was born at Thames f>3 years ago. His mother is still living. Some years ago Mr. Harris won the gold championship medal at the Auckland competitions and afterwards became well known as an entertainer. He taught elocution under the Auckland Education Board and also at the Sacred Heart College. His services were freely given for charitable entertainments. Mr. Harris belonged to the Masonic fraternity. He is survived by his widow and one son.
