PRESENTATION.

SIB GEORGE RICHARDSON. A presentation was made to MajorGeneral Sir George S. Richardson by the Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association in appreciation of services rendered to the returned soldiers and ex-servicemen of Auckland. Mr. J. W. Kendall, president of the Auckland Returned . Soldiers' Associa tion, .mentioned the devoted services rendered by Sir George in the cause of the returned soldier. Mr. W. G. McConnell also eulogised, his services, particularly with regard to the formation of the ExServiccmen's Clubs. Mrs. E. Gould, president of the ExServicewomen's Association, congratulated Sir George and, at the request of the president of the Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association, made the presentation. , Sir George Richardson, in replying, thanked the donors, and said that hs had the cause of the returned man very much at heart and always would have.
