SPORTS CARNIVAL.
FIELD DAY AT EPSOM. ATHLETICS AND RACING. COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAMME The combined sports carnival in aid of the Auckland Cricket Coach Fund was held tliis afternoon at Alexandra Park in brilliant weather. The attendance was estimated at 5000. A comprehensive programme was staged, which included trotting, wrestling, athletics, gymnastics, hunting, boxing, cycling and racing, and the various events were followed with keen interest.
