I y Australian Sentence on Banned N.Z. Visitor. i GERALD GRIFFIN CASE. SYDNEY, November 30. Geralcl Griffin, aged 28, salesman, of ! New Zealand, was to-day convicted and sentenced to six months' imprisonment 011 a charge of being a prohibited immigrant. i A Customs officer, Richard Wilson, gave evidence that Griffin submitted to a dictation test in Dutch. j Griffin, replying, said: "011 the advice 1 of my solicitor, I objcct to these proceedings." I The magistrate said he would leave it to the Crown authorities to deter- | mine when the sentence should expire.
