KEEPING A HAT BRIM FLAT.

The brims of scout hats often get very much out of shape. They may bo flattened with a simple device on the lines shown in the sketch. Two pieces of thick wood, rather larger

than the brim of the hat, are secured. A hole is cut in the centre of one board to take the crown of the hat. When the hat is being pressed, weights may be put on to the upper board.
