Whirling, twirling, softly swaying, Ans'ring to the wind's each mood Dead leaves on the ground decaying, Off'ring up their life for food To their mother tree; fronds uncurling, Drooping, stooping to the stream Twinkling through the ferns unfurling, It seems just a fairy-dream.
