Two of the most piquant bits of London cinema gossip of the moment are, firstly, that Douglas Fairbanks, jun., and Gertrude Lawrence are to make a British film, based 011 Murger's famous Parisian story, "Scenes de la Vie de Boheme," part of which provided the libretto for Puccini's opera "La Boheme," and, secondly, that "shooting" is beginning on "The Dictator," starring Clive Brook and Madeleine Carroll, and directed by A.
