Angling has its sorrows as well as joys. Kmil Sclioor, an Elmsford (New Jersey) insurance broker, caught a pickerel. He was fined £2 10/ for keeping the fish wlricli, said the prosecution, was one inch less than the legal 12in limit.- School', being a true angler, was a man of resource. He pleaded that the fish, after being caught, shrank in the hot sun. Now lie's to be tried by a jury. He refuses to pay the fine.
