POST KNOCKED DOWN.

MOTOR TRUCK ON PAVEMENT A motor truck driven by Mr. Jensen, carrier, of Grotto Street, Onehunga, ran on to the pavement in Queen Street, Onehunga, yesterday afternoon. A corner verandah post belonging to Mr. J. Laking was knocked clown. The vehicle stopped just as it touched the window frame, and narrowly escaped smashing the plateglass window. The truck was not extensively damaged.
