GRAIN PRICES FIXED.
ACTION" IX ARGENTINA. BUENOS AIRES, November 29. The Ministry of Agriculture lias issued a decree re-establishing for the new crop the basic prices of grains originally established in November, 1933, when the Government initiated its grain-buying programme. The price of wheat is set at 5.175 pesos per cvt., equivalent to 1 dollar (38 cents per 220ib. The decree authorised • the Grain Control Board to purchase on . the Government's account when necessary to maintain prices.'!"" Sell or Luis Dnhau, Minister of Agriculture,. announced - that -the Grain Board in the - last year had puvqliascd 4,000,000 tons of wheat, equivalent to 75 per cent of the "amount exported. All but 153,000 tons were sold, and the board's losses amounted to only 8,000,000 pesos.
