N.Z. BUTTER SHIPMENTS.

Shipments of butter and cheese last month showed a decline on those for October, 1933, butter decreasing by 3360 tons and cheese by 108 tons. Of the butter shipped last month 09.72 per cent was consigned. The whole of the cheese shipped, 6191 tons, was consigned. A decrease of 3932 tons is shown in the shipments of butter for the first three months of the season, compared with those for the corresponding quarter of last year, the figures being 27,276 in 1934 and 31,208 in 1933. This shows a decrease of approximately 12V& per cent.
