WIRE PIERCES HEART.

DAIRY COWS KILLED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, this day. Within two weeks Mr. W. E. Williams (Kaihu) has lost two valuable dairy cows. Upon being opened by a stock inspector, Mr. V. Crabbc, it was found that a piece of. wire, in one case, had pierced the heart, and in the other was touching the heart. After a search of Mr. Williams' farm a piece of old steel hauling rope, the remains of timbqrluauling gear, was found.
