The ratepayers of Suva made _a silent "unopposed at the election councillors on Saturday. f , Both councillors opposed the Govern ment's action in setting aside the present very satisfactory -system of o°^ e merit for control by a Governmen nominated board, on which the 1' ljiain (who own 110 property in the town) ■ aie to be given equal representation wi.h the Europeans, who own the greater pait of the area. • •
