TENDER ACCEPTED.

BLOCK IN QUEEN STREET

Nine tenders! were considered by the Dingwall Trust Board yesterday for tin' construction of a block of shops and offices to bo erected on the western side of Queen Street, nearly opposite Fort Street, and that of W. H. Whittaker, of Sandrinuham. was accepted. The price is a little over £32.000. The work will be commenced on January 7. and it i* anticipated that the building will be ready for occupation nine months afterwards. The block was designed by -Messrs. Glimmer and Ford and partners, and will be of five storeys with a frontage of 40ft to Queen' Street, and a depth of 1150 ft.
