The annual meeting of the Otahuhu Women's Christian' Temperance Union wae held in. the Methodist Sunday school recently. Mrs. Eccersall presided, and reports of the year's activities were given. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mrs. Eccersall (re-elected); vice-presi-dent, Mrs. West; secretary, Mrs. W. Taylor (re-elected); treasurer, Mrs. Hall (re-elected); superintendents of departments, Mrs. West (White Ribbon agent), Mrs. Handiside (Cradle Roll), Mre. Eccersall (anti-gambling), Mrs. Williamson, Mrs." Webb, and Mrs. Ashcroft (home and cottage meetings), Mrs. Williamson (tea convener).
