PENWOMEN'S CLUB.
DRAMA SECTION EVENING
A varied and enjoyable programme was given by the drama section of the
League of Penwonien on Tuesday evening before a large number ot members and guests. The convener, Miss Anne Manning, presided. Items comprised pianoforte duets by Joyce Smith and Marjorie D'O, pianoforte solos by Miss Watson, and three Maori songs sung by Mrs. Harold King. Two one-act plays were also presented. In "The Mirror," produced by Maisie Carte-Lloyd, the characters were taken by Miss Edna Craig, Miss Marjorie Yeatman and Mrs. Sclunitt. The second play, "A Knock in the Night" was produced by June Holmes. The parts were taken by Francis Cole, Frank Waldron and Alan Beai't. Supper was served at the conclusion of the evening.
