ONEHUNGA METHODISTS.

• SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY. Services were held yesterday in the Foresters' Theatre, Onehunga, in celebration of the seventy-ninth anniversary of the Onehunga Methodist Sunday School. Anniversary hymns, sung by 200 children and the church choir, supported by an orchestra, gave great pleasure at each service to the large congregations. Mr. A. R. Gatland trained the children and conducted them, and Mr. H. W. Clegg was the accompanying pianist. The preachers for the day were the Revs. W. Parker, of Papakura, Kenneth Melvin, of Mount Eden, and E. S. Harkness, pastor of the Onehunga Methodist Church. The celebrations will be continued to-morrow evening with an anniversary tea in the Sunday school, to be followed by a concert and the distribution of prizes in the Foresters' Theatre.
