LIGHTNING CHESS.

A lightning chess tourney, open to allcomers, will be held at the rooms of the .Auckland Chess Club, His Majesty's Arcade, this evening. Handicaps will be declared and the first "call" made at eight o'clock. Supper will be provided hy a committee of ladies. As the club has oniy a limited number of chess sets the committee has requested players to bring their own men if possible.
