STEEL STEEDS. — Wireless-equipped armoured cars used by the Ist Cavalry Unit of the United Slates Army. All modern armies are being increasingly mechanised, and wireless is an important part of the equipment, both of armoured cars and tanks. In the autumn manoeuvres of ihe British Army the Tank Brigade, distributed over a width and depth of ten miles, was controlled by radio.
