DOMESTIC SERVICE.

After rending "T.Z.V article in tlie "Star" referring to domestics and their treatment I agree in every way. I have had my share of hard mistresses, and know what it is like — rising before 0 a.m. and finishing all hours at night. The hard work, long hours and small wages are l>ad enough, without having to put up with spoilt and pampered children. I can produce excellent references, and have had to work very hard to get them. If only mistresses would treat their girls with a little more kindness and consideration, I am sure domestic work would not be thought of with such loathing, as it is. DOMESTIC.
