This compares with £223.093 in the previous year, an increase of £11,704. Taxation on that occasion was £17,369 greater than the sum provided this year, so that earnings of the company were actually less by £5665. Following are details of profits and appropriations: Net profit, £234.797; to amortisation and depreciation, £145.000; taxation, £32,337. The report and bal-rnce-sheet of the company will be issued shortly.
