I HATJRAKI GULF CONDITIONS, j I

The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tamanga, Kawhia, and Hamilton: — Light to fresh northerly winds, with the weather for most part fair and mild, but with light rain likely at first in a few scattered places; seas smooth to moderate. The pressure has risen still further to the eastward,, but has fallen slightly over New Zealand, where stagnant conditions prevail. A depression is located over South-Eastern Australia.

The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day: — Wind, N.E., moderate to fresh; sea! moderate; weather cloudy to overcast i with passing showers; visibility fair; barometer steady. J
