Mr. J. C. Sidcbottom leaves for Melbourne by the Wanganella to-day. Mr. C. M. Emmanuel, who has been holidaying in Australia, returned by the Wanganella yesterday. Mr. S. Riekards, president of the Han raki Reform League, has resigned as president and as member of the league, j Mr. A. W. Essex, passenger manager I in New Zealand for Canadian Pacific Railways, left for Wellington last night. Mr. A. G. 15igne.ll bus resigned the j chairmanship of the board of trustees of the Wanganui Collegiate School, after 2.) years 7 service. The l!ev. Dr. Alexander Hodge, who has been appointed minister of the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle, arrived by the Tamaroa from Enghnid this afternoon. Mr. George Murphy, inspector for the Bank of New Zealand, and Mrs. Murphy leave by the Wanganella to-day en route to Melbourne for the Centenary celebrations. Mr. J. W. Beaumont i'ease. chairman of Lloyds' Bank, London, and the Hon. Mrs. Pease, leave for Melbourne by the Wanganella to-day after a short tour of the Dominion. Messrs. W. W. Mulholland, R. B. Meek, James Carr and P. R. Talbot have been re-elected directors of the New Zealand Wheat Growers' Association, no other nominations having been received.
