The man who was knocked down by a tram at the top of Symonds Street on Monday evening, and admitted to the Auckland TJospital suffering from concussion and*sead injuries, was identified late yesterday as Mr. H. J. Howard, aged 3S, married, of 40, Grey Avenue, City. -His condition is reported to be improving. .
