The following report for the month of September has been received from the BlackWiiter,'Mines: Crushed 3700 tons, yielding 1787 line ounces of gold, from all sources, the value of which, taking gold at 140/ per fine ounce, is £12,."">09. Working costs were ffiSOO, working profit £0700, capital expenditure £1131, development expenditure £GB2. Review of development work carried out during the month: No. 11 level advanced 4.3 ft on reef, averaging 24in wide and 12dwt value. No. 12 level advanced 36ft on reef, of an average value of 4dwt, and 24in wide, ltlse connection has been made with No. 11 level at 3835 ft north. At 84ft of rise we erposed reef of an average value of 7jdwt and 2Mn width. The north shaft was sunk 52ft during the month.
