ABLE SEAMAN'S DEATH.

An inquest was opened by the coroner, Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., this morning into the death of William Todd, an able seaman in H.M.S. Laburnum. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Monday and died the same day. After evidence of identification nad been given the inquest was adjourned to enable a post-mortem examination of the bodv to be made.
