Mr. Dan Collins, a Sydney pilot, left Perth in the Miss Southern Cross last Thursday at 6 p.m. and arrived in Melbourne at 11 a.m. on Friday. He flew from Perth to Adelaide, a distance of 1900 miles, in seventeen hours non-stop, thus making a record for night flying in Australia. After arriving at Melbourne he took off a few minutes later for Sydney.
