OTAHUHU CLUB. The second annual meeting of the Otaliuhu Swimming Club held last evening drew a very good attendance of members. The balance-sheet submitted by the presl: dent, Mr. F. W. Grey, proved the club's finances to be in a healthy condition. The report showed that steady progress was being made, the club membership being 73. During the year 51 school children had Qualified for swimming certificates, and in view eff the number of school children in and adjacent to Otahuhu (approximately 2500) a recommendation was made that this side of the club's activities should be fostered. The lack of baths locally is a big handicap to the activities of the club and a bar to children learning to swim. The election of officers resulted:— Patron. Mr. H. T. Clements; president. Mr. F. W.
