(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, Tuesday. The foursomes championships were played at Belmont to-day, when the New Zealand golf championship meeting was continued. The amateur event was won by two young players, A. E. Guy (Manawatu) and J. P. Mortland (Taihape), while A. J. Shaw and W. Campbell headed the professionals. The weather remained fine for most of the day, but there was a fairly strong north-westerly, wind, and rain, which had threatened, commenced to fall as play finished.
