TENNIS OPENING.
KITCHENER PARK CLUB,
Favoured by ideal weather, the official opening for the season of the Kitchener Park tennis courts, Milford, was attended by a largo and representative gathering. After welcoming visitors and members, the president, Mr. N. S. Chalmers, congratulated the club on its progress during the last few years. Among those present were: Mesdames Chalmers, E. Everiss, A. M. Howden, H. Kensington, A. B. Webber, D. M. Davidson, P. Cantwell, D. Clouston, G. Myers, Misses B. Randall, B. Webber, M. Stonehouse, K. Harty, B. Iladen. A progressive tournament was played during tiie afternoon, the winners being Mrs. L). Mowbray and' Mr. Hutchings.
