TRANSPORT EMPLOYEES.
WAGES AGREEMENT,
Recommendations of the industrial sub-committee of . the Auckland Transport Board were adopted at a meeting of the board this morning. The committee reported having again met the union assessors in connection with the industrial agreement, and now recommended that the present agreement be extended for six months, subject to two provisions. The provisions were that an increase of Id an hour should be paid for broken shift \voc'< in the traffic department, and that an increase of id an hour be paid to pitmen when working on night shift.
